 Thompson Sales was founded in Bend, Oregon in 1964 by Wendell Thompson.  In 1982, Kreg Roth, Greg Smith and Jack Smith purchased Thompson Sales and renamed the company Thompson Pump & Irrigation, Inc. In 2016 after 33 years of ownership Greg sold the company to Andy and Jennifer High whose roots are tied to Central and Eastern Oregon. Andy grew up in Klamath Falls where his family still lives at the family ranch, which was homesteaded in the 1860's. Jennifer grew up in Bend working with her family in their custom home building company. Since its founding, Thompson Pump has been committed to providing unsurpassed customer service and quality irrigation equipment to customers throughout Central and Eastern Oregon.

Putting People First

In 1993, Thompson Pump and Irrigation opened a second location in Madras, Oregon to serve it's customer even better. Over the years, Thompson Pump has invested in state-of-the-art pump pullers, trenching equipment, well camera equipment for examining the integrity of well casings and has established excellent vendor relations so that their cost savings can be passed along to the customer. 

 Along with irrigation equipment, Thompson Pump engineers and installs domestic well water systems and agricultural pumps.  The customers and its employees are what make Thompson Pump and Irrigation what we are today. Expect nothing but the best equipment properly installed.
